Installed Megan split dp's and catless test pipes (the ones that sell on ebay) about a year ago, along with Stillen 4" single-tip cat back mufflers / X-pipe. It sounds really good till it gets to about 3000 rpm, then if it is under load, in any gear, it starts resonating and sounds like a rice burner till it hits about 3500 rpm, then it goes away and sounds pretty deep again. No one seems to have this problem, except one guy emailed me like 9 months after my post and asked if I had solved the problem, because he had the same problem. Anyway, he seemed like he was really bothered by it, so I gave him some guesses about what to do, and see if it works. I don't have the time myself to experiment to find what it is. He emailed me like once more, then I never heard back from him again, so I don't know if he found out what it was. Has anyone run into this with that combination of exhaust components? If so, it would be very helpful if anyone has a simple solution. I personally think it is the merging of exhaust flow after the split dp that causes the resonance at a certain rpm. It sounds like it comes from right in front of the transmission, which is where the dp's are. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
